Features to know about

Keeps Every Trailer Level: 6-1/4" Drop or 6-3/4" Rise

If you pull more than one trailer, you know how frustrating it is when one sits too high and the next drags low. This adjustable 2-ball mount gives you up to a 6-1/4" drop or a 6-3/4" rise so you can line up each trailer for a level, stable tow. Four mounting positions let you fine-tune the height by simply moving the ball platform within the channel and locking it in with the included pins and clips.

Handles Heavy Loads Without Flexing: 14,000 lbs Capacity

Big campers, boats, or equipment trailers push your gear hard, but this mount is built for it. The welded, heat-treated steel construction supports up to 10,000 lbs on the 2" ball and 14,000 lbs on the 2-5/16" ball with a tongue weight limit of 2,000 lbs. A 5/16" thick channel frame and a 1/2" thick gusset plate brace the shank so it won’t bend even at full load. The hitch balls are welded to a solid steel platform for extra strength and stability through every mile.

Built to Last Through Bad Weather: Matte Black Powder Coat

Rain, salt, and grime don’t let up once towing season starts. The steel shank and channel are finished in a matte black powder coat with nickel undercoat and zinc topcoat that resist corrosion trip after trip. Even the included pins and clips get the same protective treatment so they stay free of rust and hold strong over time.

BulletProof Hitches matte black powder-coated steel shank designed for smooth fit into a 2-inch hitch receiver.

Easy Trailer Swaps: Dual Hitch Balls Included

Switching between trailers shouldn’t mean swapping mounts. With both a 2" ball rated for 10,000 lbs and a 2-5/16" ball rated for 14,000 lbs welded onto one platform, you can flip between them in seconds. Just pull the pins, flip the platform, reinsert the clips, and you’re ready for your next hookup—no tools or extra parts needed.

Solid Setup That Fits Right

The 2" x 2" shank slides cleanly into your receiver and locks in place with your own hitch pin or lock (sold separately). Distance from the center of the hitch pin hole to the hitch ball runs from 10-7/8" to 12-3/8", giving enough length for clearance behind your truck without sticking out too far. Every piece feels tight and precise so your trailer tracks straight and quiet wherever you go.

High quality and great looking on the t ruck

by:

Haven’t used it yet but I’m very impressed in the construction and design. Looks to be way better built than my fastway flash.

by:

Good quality, fast shipping, and received this quickly.

by:

Very Happy with shipping and overall quality of equipment and service A++

by:

Solid, well built. Bought for the wdh adaptor for pulling my travel trailer. Didn't get to use it yet but I look forward to a lifetime of use.

by:

My first and ongoing impression with your company: Friendly, competent people providing quality services. The hitch is everything I hoped it'd be, and should provide years of dependable service. Thanks again! I will use your outfit again without hesitation and tell others the same..

by:

Fast shipping! Great service! This is my go to place for all my trailer & towing needs

by:

Haven't put the ball mount on the trucks yet. Really solid and heavy duty ball mount. Well packaged in styrofoam in original box. Can't emphasize enough how heavy this mount is, can't imagine any part of it breaking.

by:

This product is perfect. It is exactly what I was looking for. I am a commercial lawn cutter and this works on my truck perfectly. It is great for the heavy loads I haul and has the perfect adjustable height.

by:

Needed this unit for the rise and weight limits, but selected this model due to the black-out look and lifetime warranty. Simple connections and easy to store ball when not in use.

by:

I wish the height adjustment pins locked. Overall, a very high quality hitch but I hope nobody steals the ball off of it.

by:

Just received this ball mount. It is rock solid with high quality welds. Powder coat finish is nice. I would not hesitate to purchase anything from the Bulletproof brand again.

by:

My second purchase from etrailer and just like the first one, it was a flawless transaction. What I especially like and appreciate is the way they follow up with you after the package is delivered. Definitely the GO TO for any towing/trailer related purchases.

by:

I purchased this hitch to pull my horse trailer. It's a beast, provides peace of mind, and is worth the investment. I've owned it for over a year now and do not have any complaints.

by:

Sent me the wrong hitch. Ordered the 6” drop, received the 4” drop. Hitch itself is ok, powder coating wore off ball and where it goes into receiver on first use.

by:

Just received in the mail. Haven't towed with it yet, but no issues with fitment, well packaged, nothing was missing and I think it's accurate to say the unit and its components are bulletproof. Very easy to use and setup. Should get many years of reliable service out of it. Also comes with proprietary grease which is $10 by itself. I never thought that was needed but definitely nice to have.

by:

This thing is like the name says..bulletproof. It’s heavy and seems it will be a great hitch. Minor complaint is where the 2 balls hook on to the hitch there is a little bit of play. Other then that it seems like a well built hitch

by:

This is the best and most bad-ass trailer hitch I've ever owned. Nicely done guys, this is total hard core quality that will last forever.

by:

This is quite a robust hitch. I received it in record time and it's already mounted to our motorhome First trip starts this coming weekend so we shall see but I believe this hitch is exactly what we need to tow a 24 ft. flatbed trailer with our Ford Expedition. Well built hitch and excellent service from eTrailer!

by:

Has been on our boat delivery truck all year , a 2020 GMC crew cab 6.2 towing 6000 to 8000 lb. boats all over the country. This hitch works great and is super easy to use.

by:

This hitch for my F250 is perfect. After one year of pulling thru salt and snow, finish is perfect. I recommend this hitch to anyone doing SERIOUSLY heavy pulls.

by:

Still functioning and looking as excellent as it did the day it arrived. Well built hitch, truly fits my needs.

Still exceeding every expectation. Was just in action on the road with it this past weekend. Very pleased with this hitch.

by:

This hitch is everything I was looking for to upgrade my fleet. The build quality looks great, and the ratings are clearly marked, which is something that isn't always easy to find. Once again, etrailer hits on all marks. Thank you!

by:

Heavy duty. Using on stock 2009 Dodge 3500 4x4. Last hole on adjustment is not used. So setting in the above image is all that is needed. FIO.
I bought pin locks to keep someone from stealing my hitch. So far , so good.

by:

This filled my needs in terms of size and adjustability. However, the adjustable channel holes don’t line up exactly with the pins. I have to hit them with a rubber mallet to get them in. I guess I better remember to take one with me if I need to change the ball height away from home.

  • Can Reese WD Head RP58167 Be Mounted To A BulletProof Hitch Ball Mount?
Hello Blaine, thanks for reaching out. BulletProof does sell a sway control 2-ball platform part # BPH76RR which can be used with a friction sway bar like the Reese # 83660. The Replacement Head # RP58167 you were looking at is for the Reese weight distribution system. If you intend to use a Reese WD system you will need to get a WD shank like part # RP69FR. • Reason Why BulletProof Hitches Ball Mount Measurements Differ From etrailer Measurements
You are correct, the BulletProof website lists different measurements for the # MD206. In fact, this is true for all of their ball mounts. The reason for this is the way they measure which doesn't follow the standard. Rise is the distance from the top of the shank to the top of the ball platform when the ball mount is oriented for greater coupler height. Drop is the distance from the top of the shank to the top of the ball platform when the ball mount is oriented for lower coupler height....

The # MD204 has a 4" drop and a 4" rise while the # C45900 has a 6" drop and 5" rise. It is important to have the right options for rise and drop for your 2020 Ford F-150. • Why is the Rise Measurement Different From the Drop Measurement on Ball Mounts
The reason why ball mounts like the # EBMK4 have a different rise and drop measurement is because of the way they are measured. Drop is the distance from the top of the shank to the top of the ball platform when the ball mount is oriented for lower coupler height. Both are measured from the top of the shank.
